If you have collected a lot of toilet paper rolls at home, there is no need to throw them away. You can reuse them and transform them into numerous objects and decorations thanks to manual skills and creativity.
Used cardboard rolls, how to recycle them
Despite their simplicity and apparent uselessness, an object like a used cardboard roll can be reused and become something new and original.

Every week, in all our homes, many used cardboard rolls end up in the trash, not only toilet paper rolls, but also kitchen rolls. However, thanks to the magic of creative recycling, these rolls can be transformed into original, useful and beautiful objects. Let’s see how they can make a big impact.
You can use used paper rolls to create handy cases that allow you to neatly store electrical cables inside drawers.
We can also create cute pen holders using toilet paper rolls. After painting them, simply use vinyl glue to assemble the rolls and create an original pen holder, a fun gift idea.
How to Make a Jewelry Box with Used Cardboard Rolls
First of all, we take the cardboard rolls to recycle of various sizes, and cut them with a hacksaw at various heights. We will make one of 15 cm, one of 7 cm and 2 of 10 cm.
Then we take it with a plate and place it on a piece of cardboard to make a circular shape, about 22/23 cm, then with scissors we cut out the cardboard and start painting it with acrylic colors.

We can make it in the color we prefer, either white or silver, then we leave it to dry. After that we do the same thing with the rolls and paint them all with acrylic paint.
Then with a hot glue gun we attach a ribbon with pearls and we stick it to the cardboard, tucking in the excess pearls.
We stop the ribbon with the pearls at several points on the edge, and we do it on both sides of the cylinder. We repeat this on the other 10 cm cylinder.
Now always with the hot glue we make a finishing with the metallic silver rope. Then we cover the other 2 rolls of 15 and 7 cm, passing the rope around it on the inside and outside and we block it with the hot glue.

Now we take the now dried cardboard circle and cover the outer edge with a row of ribbon beads to cover the cut and add a row of ribbon beads on the cardboard plane along the circumference.
Finally we glue the 4 covered rolls , placing the two side by side with the pearls of the same size and positioning the others in a mirror fashion, one in front of the other.
In this way we created, by blocking all the used cardboard rolls, a very nice holder for brushes and make-up.
